I hope everyone’s been out enjoying the sunny, warm weather before it all goes cold again :((
Just wanted to share with you guys a little idea I had about making a self-care checklist. So, this is my personal self-care methods and things I like to make sure I do to feel good about my day. But you could add anything you wanted that is personal to you!! Because self care is personal to each individual. So some of these things might be appropriate for you, but some might not be! But don’t feel bad if you don’t tick everything off everyday. It’s all a work in progress📝

Are you looking to become a committee member for t Are you looking to become a committee member for the next academic year? If so, you’re in luck! 

Self Care Society’s AGM is coming up so you can nominate yourself to become a committee member as of the 29th March until 5th April.

All members are then able to vote on the committee from the 6th April until 13th April. 

Due to the current circumstances, all nominations and voting will take place online! Just log into the SU website within the dates specified. 

Why become a society member? 
- Improve your skill set. 
- Something to add to your CV.
- Meet new people with similar interests. 
- Help organise events. 
- Opportunity to help others.

On the approach to Easter break, I thought it was be appropriate to share another Easter bake! So this past week I made some mini egg brownies!😋
You could try this one over the holidays. Remember to prioritise your self care over the holidays and don’t forget to take a break. I’m sure many of you like me have a lot work to do, but we deserve to take time to ourselves! It’s been a long semester, but we’re on the home stretch to the end of the year now!!

It’s #unimentalhealthday and our self care tip f It’s #unimentalhealthday and our self care tip for you today is to turn off your phone. ❌ We have all been remote working, staring at screens for studying and socialising for over a year now. So turn off your notifications, put your phone on do not disturb mode, turn off push notifications and remove all apps that make you feel stress. Spend today on focusing on your thoughts and feelings. 🧠 Trust us turning off your phone for the day will be a huge weight off your shoulder that you didn’t realise you needed to have.
